Architecting for Wicked Messes (OCADU 2018/03/07-09)

Web video has now been released for the lecture “Architecting for Wicked Messes: Towards an affordance language for service systems”, that was presented at OCADU in 2018. See http://coevolving.com/blogs/index.php/archive/architecting-for-wicked-messes/

There are four recordings (audio and video) for the lectures on March 7 and March 9 (with a break in the middle). These recordings are downloadable, or available for viewing on Youtube.

For university lectures, I normally speak about my thinking at that point in time. Prior talks have emphasized a service systems orientation, to which both Peter Jones and Jeremy Bowes referred. That content is still in the lecture, although not as emphasized as in prior years.

Amongst other “aha” moments, this presentation helped me finally understand the concept of ‘generating systems’ and their importance.
