Trist in Canada, Organizational Change, Action Learning

A 1989 book celebrating “Eric Trist in Canada”, with a chapter by David Morley (Dean, York University (Toronto) Faculty of Environmental Studies, 2001-2004), filled in gaps between the 1965 Fred E. Emery “The Causal Texture of Organizational Environments” to current day systems thinking on organizations.

This is deep review with digressions for clarify, estimated for 40 minutes reading time. If it makes you feel better, I’ve been working on this (and a complementary blog post to come) for 2 weeks!
