My colleague Meg Hargreaves and I established a new section on my blog devoted to using constructs from complexity science and system science to make operational decisions about evaluation. (While the focus is on evaluation, much of the material is also relevant to planning.) By “operational” we mean that the construct (or constructs) result in a change in a program model, or in the evaluation’s methodology, or in the data collected.
